My opinions for Project Cush .

Project Crush is a very educational lesson which teachs us of the risk and dangers of Online risks and also about the Online scams , Pornography , Scams , spam mails , hoaxes , viruses . I have learned that Porn is bad for your mind it will corrupt and your dirty your mind pictures and videos . And about the online risks about chainmails which sometime can lead to scams . There are also impersonators who scams the money of many , they usually asks for cash to be transfered into their account . And those chainmails , they used it to forward to people so that those who forwarded it , will be spamed , spamed , spamed or even send viruses to us . So we better be careful of this threats . There are also fake sites (e.g Hate sites , fake sites. )
When people give fake infomation about people or things. People who see and believes it will give FURTHER FAKE infomation to other people and soon there will be rumours and news about it . I enjoyed project crush as it is a fun lesson and i learned about interesting things like scammers etc . They teached us how to surf the internet SAFELY and efficiently .

TK Learning Enviroment

Today, TK continues to provide its students with an academic curriculum that is rigorous and CCA programmes that unleash the potential within the students. The school believes in honing the skills in student leadership and reaching out to the community. In addition what makes TK unique is the spirit of excellence that exists especially in the CCAs. The spirit of camaraderie within each CCA, the competition between CCAs and the desire that they always want to be the best are very strong. This is what makes the school an extremely vibrant place. There are a lot of other events and programmes that are taking place that add to its vibrancy. This vibrant learning environment has contributed to the development of students' potential and helped them soar to greater heights. Another key element that accounts for the success of TK is close partnership with its stakeholders. TK works closely with former TK students, parents and the community partners. Together with TK, these stakeholders often value-add and contribute to the programmes of TK.
School Excellence Model
As TK steps into the 21st Century, the school is also aware of the challenges and changing needs of a rapidly changing world. TK has used the SEM framework, introduced by the Ministry of Education, to improve on her holistic approach to education and to help equip the students for the challenges of the new century. The SEM is used to help TK sustain a vibrant learning environment that will help both staff and students to be creative, innovative and resourceful.
Over the next five years the school will work towards achieving 6 strategic thrusts.
TK's 6 Strategic Thrusts1. Academic Innovation & Excellence2. CCA & Holistic Health 3. Character and Student Leadership Development 4. Staff Resource Management and Development 5. Stakeholders as Strategic Partners 6. Administrative and Operational Management Excellence

School Song

The school song speaks on the themes of a balanced education, hard work in both work and play and of teamwork. The names that the song invokes represent those who dared to dream the impossible and achieve realities which could have been mere figments of imagination in their time.
Tanjong Katong Secondary School Song:
On the sea-shore of endless worlds,With the mind and with the body,We'll work together and we'll play,It's one for all and all for one. Chorus:We'll seek and find,We'll make and mind,However hard, we'll strive to reach the goal. O Rutherford, Da Vinci, Tagore and Albert Einstein,We hope we have rightly invokedYour inspirations and your fame.

School Crest

On the school badge is a picture of Leonardo da Vinci, one of the most versatile geniuses of modern times. He was both a scientist and an artist. Leonardo represents a man with an 'all-round' education. The symbolism of "flight" in the school's emblem, seen in the bird and the flying machine, instills in the students the desire to go beyond the realms of ordinary imagination and to achieve goals, which no one has dared to dream before. The school motto in Latin: Diligentia, Ingenium and Dexteritas. It highlights the importance of the meaning of these words: Diligence, Ingenuity and Dexterity.
